This abbreviation stands for: E – Engineering (feasibility studies, design, and coordination work), P – Procurement (procurement of materials and equipment required for the entire project), C – Construction (construction, assembly, and commissioning work). In simple terms, it refers to a turnkey project implemented by an external contractor.
The EPC contractor assumes full responsibility for the entire scope of tasks and delivers the facility to the investor in operational condition (i.e. ready for production or any other type of business activity).
