The price of electricity for the population will not be increased in 2021

The weighted average annual price of this resource for industry will not exceed 1.50 UAH per kWh.

This forecast was provided by the CEO of ETG.UA, Volodymyr Shvedkyi, in an interview with the business portal Delo.ua. The sale of electricity to the population may not become liberalized in July this year, but the company is preparing for the reform. "We are still waiting for the opening of this market, and we plan to establish a presence and increase sales. We have experience in the B2B electricity market, and nothing prevents us from scaling it to the residential sector," said the company's CEO.
