Energy Trade Group continues its support for the Zhovti Vody community and the “Step to Yourself” Veterans’ Space

Yesterday, the Energy Trade Group team held a meeting with the Mayor of Zhovti Vody, Mr. Dmytro Khanis, and representatives of the “Step to Yourself” Veterans’ Space in Zhovti Vody.
For many years,
ETG.UA
has been supporting the Zhovti Vody community, and today we continue this cooperation with a strong focus on one of the most important social initiatives for the city and neighboring communities — the creation and development of the “Step to Yourself” Veterans’ Space.
In 2025, we joined support with our partners from the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine. As a result of the Climate Ambition Accelerator 2025 program, the
ETG.UA
project was selected as a winner and awarded a grant from the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine.
Within this grant, Energy Trade Group is implementing the modernization of the energy supply system for the “Step to Yourself” Veterans’ Space. The project addresses 12 out of 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves as a practical example of ESG principles in action — partnership for real, measurable impact.
At the same time, we clearly understand that much work still lies ahead. The space requires further building renovation, interior refurbishment, furniture, and specialized equipment, including facilities for medical and psychological rehabilitation of veterans. This initiative has a purely social mission and is aimed at providing long-term support for veterans, their families, and the wider community.
As a socially responsible business,
ETG.UA
has been supporting Zhovti Vody for over 10 years. We have implemented multiple renewable energy projects here, including solar power plants, and are currently developing a 93 MW wind farm nearby. We cannot and will not stand aside when it comes to supporting those who have defended our country.
We sincerely thank the Zhovti Vody community for their trust, Mayor Dmytro Khanis for his constant support and dedication to the community, and the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine for believing in this project and providing real support for the “Step to Yourself” Veterans’ Space.
We remain open to cooperation and invite partners, donors, and businesses to join us.
Together, we can do more — for people, for communities, and for the future of Ukraine.
