ETG.UA at Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025: Energy – A Key Focus for Reconstruction

ETG.UA's participation in this year's Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2025) in Rome highlighted the central role of the energy sector in Ukraine's recovery process. The discussions focused not only on urgent solutions but also on long-term approaches to decentralization, the development of green energy, and Ukraine's integration into the European energy market.

Key outcomes of URC 2025 in the energy sector:

• Over €1.2 billion – total financial agreements to support projects in nuclear, hydro, and renewable energy, as well as in energy resource extraction, energy efficiency, and professional workforce training.
• €240 million – allocated to the URC 2025 Energy Support Fund for the purchase of equipment and the restoration of critical infrastructure.
• A joint initiative with UNDP for "green" recovery, covering both short-term solutions and the strategic modernization of the energy system.

ETG.UA Investment Project

At the conference, the company presented its 93 MW wind power plant project in the Kirovohrad region, which is already underway and has been included in the Ukraine 2025 Investment Project Catalogue. The project is open for partnerships and international co-financing.

As part of URC, the ETG.UA team held a series of meetings with financial organizations and industry partners interested in the development of renewable energy in Ukraine.

Additional activities with the participation of ETG.UA:

• URC Side Event: "Energy Solutions for Sustainable Regional Development", organized by UNDP in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine;
• URC Side Event: "Recovery and Investments in Ukraine’s Energy Sector", organized by Energy Club – a discussion on investment mechanisms, renewable energy projects (RES), and tools for risk reduction for investors.

"For us, participation in URC 2025 is not just a dialogue about reconstruction but also concrete agreements on the next stages of project implementation. ETG.UA is not just part of the discussion – we are setting the agenda for the recovery of Ukraine’s energy sector."
